I got these 4 bottles of barolo 2016 but I cant seem to find too much info to on the domaine and their wines, only their website with absurd prices imo. Any help?

Well it’s from the best Barolo vintage thus far and its riserva meaning aged the longest, should be fantastic regardless!

The content available online about this winery is a bit fishy. I’d be interested to see input from people who know the region better – the wine may well still be great but I’m not sure what they are trying to do on the marketing side.

There’s bizarrely little info about this. The blurb on Bid for Wine seems like AI slop translated from Italian. It’s weird….
Weirdly the labels I find online with that style don’t say Riserva. It seems odd for a wine that premium to have this little info. But who knows

Vivino rates this at a 4.3/5 for what it’s worth. Pull a cork and see if it holds up! Happy decanting.

The man behind the wine is called Otto Tabai. He’s an Italian entrepreneur fixated on making his company a “luxury” brand. As far as I know, they don’t make anything of their own and everything is white label procurement. He puts out a quarterly dedicated to selling his merchandise.
As for the wine, it’s still a relatively new product. No idea who makes it but it’s certainly not an estate wine. It wasn’t made for drinking, meaning it’s pitched as an investment vehicle. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it a scam but people who know wine aren’t buying these. That doesn’t mean they won’t be good or even great, but I wouldn’t expect them to be either.
My guess is that it’s highly overpriced and, like another commenter suggested, trying to establish itself as a luxury brand (esp. In Asia?). That being said, it will most likely be an excellent wine, just not worth anywhere near that kind of money (are there even any Barlow that retail at that price range upon release?). Enjoy and be nice to whoever gifted it to you.

I literally thought it was Petrus from the small thumbnail and thought this was Winecj

Just crack one open and see what it’s like.

Are these the magnum bottles? They apparently retain for €1250, which is indeed absurd. In case anyone is curious , here’s the link: https://www.tabaibarolo.com/product/barolo-2016/
This article says they’re big in Hong Kong: https://www.gaeta.it/barolo-tabai-riserva-vintage-2019-il-vino-da-collezione-che-sta-conquistando-hong-kong
