Had my dad over for ribs for his birthday Sunday. Kind of a trip, I remember all the ribs he used to cook when I was a kid, now I'm making them for him. Full circle stuff

Also on Sundays I always bbq a bunch of protein so that we have cooked meat for quick lunches and dinners during the week. On today's menu: sausage for dinner appetizer, rack of beef ribs, 3 chicken breasts, 10 marinated thighs (in the pot staying warm) and a smoked venison top round. Smoked that for 2 hours with the ribs on the Traeger, transfered to the Santa Maria bbq to sear off at the end.

All came out awesome and we have easy meats for the week. This helps so much with not having to go grab fast food. We're busy, often getting home late, so cooking meats on Sunday has helped a ton.
