I’m certain I have made the worst macarons
known to mankind. This is my first time making macarons. I was positive about the results because the batter was thick and ran down nice and slowly. I also let it rest before and after baking. They turned out more like cookies and they’re soft even though i put them in the oven for an extra 7 minutes after seeing they’re still soft. My speculations on why they turned out like these are:
1. Maybe I didn’t sift the almond flour enough?
2. I undermixed/overmixed the batter
3. I didn’t incorporate the batter well
I’m disconcerted and just amused at how badly i failed. 💀

They look pretty tasty, ngl. Like little cookies. As macarons obviously a fail, but that’s par for the course!
Recipe? This looks like incorrect ratios to me
