If their wings were bigger I would agree. Their sauce is absolutely worth the hype but the actual wings are just OK. I’ll give it an OK+ because their wings are natural or sustainable chicken whatever you wanna call it. This is coming from someone who goes there 1x/month or so

Edit: looks like you got a good batch though, often about 50% of them are the size of my pinky

Is it Grateful Dead themed or does it just happen to share the name with a Dead song?

I agree. The mouth breathers in Denver (there are two locations there now) are always complaining that the wings are “too small” because they smartly use local Red Bird chicken (which has no hormones etc).. But in my book, they’re the best wing and the sauces that were perfected in Portland are top notch.

Some of the best beer on tap in the country too. They have some absolutely banger sauces (and specials). I had a curry base sauce that is my favorite wing sauce to this day, hands down. Definitely pricey, but if you hit it at happy hour, it’s an excellent deal.

This is my favorite place and I love their sauces. Also, they have great in house blue cheese and fries.

Popping in for my regular FOTM comment. If you like hot Mix the extra hot with garlic parm and thanks me later.

If you’re really hungry get the Christmas style cheese fries with onion and cheese.

Best onion rings I’ve had as well.
