Any other Philos owners having this issue? When mine initially arrived fresh out of the box it had fallen off in the box and assumed the sticky’s dried out. Now after a day or so I come back to the metal emblem like the picture. Going to reach out to Mazzer. A little disappointed with the design choice given this thing is a tank.

Also anyone experiencing jerkiness when turning on? Mine kind of jerks to life when I flip the switch and then normalizes.

Dang that thing is a presence now isn’t it

Do you think the jerkyness is from suddenly making a large, dense steel burr go from stationery to high RPMs almost instantly? Does your car jerk you forward when you tap the gas? The logo falling off is dumb, but these philos posts are getting ridiculous. All grinders do this. Did mazzer advertise a soft start? I’d rather people just return their grinder than keep posting. You are a early adapter to a new model. I. Waiting for someone to complain they new Philos just arrived and won’t turn on, only for it to be unplugged.

Where did you get the wood accents for the kettle?

    Italy baby!

I imported Italian restaurant equipment for almost a decade, not surprised to see this. Hope they provide a fix soon. It appears to just be some double sided tape.

In my experience they’ll tell you nothing is wrong and come out with a fix in a year.

  5. Head to an auto parts store (autozone for example if you’re in the US). Grab a roll of 3M molding trim tape. Or Amazon VHB trim tape by 3m. It should hold. Stupid they didn’t use a proper way to attach this thing. Had a mazer grinder for 15 years that thing was a TANK. I use this stuff to hold a carbon trim on the wing of one of my cars and it holds at 160 mph on the race track…

that’s pretty bad using a double sided tape

Jerkiness when turning on? Sounds like most commercial grinders. My k30 turns on the enough force to turn itself on the counter a tiny bit. But it also grinds 19grams in 5 seconds

Hey I too have the same issue, it’s a known issue. I emailed them and they are sending me a new variant that uses screws.

Yikes, $1500 for a grinder and this happens?! This is off-putting.

I’ve seen others posting the same issue!
