My in laws left this weber grill in my garage last year. It seems like they haven’t used it for a long time. However I can’t take the connection to the gas, no matter how much force I used. Any tips? I used oil too in the area circled in red.

Also, any tips on restoring it, since it hasn’t been used for a while?

Tank and regulator Doesn’t look American. I’d get a replacement hose on Amazon and as new tank.
Never use oil on any tanks.
OP are you shoving the hose into the Gas Cylinder? You need an adapter to connect the two together.
For anyone who is wondering this is an Australian gas Cylinder.
Here’s one from [Bunnings](https://www.bunnings.com.au/gasmate-adaptor-5-8-unf-3-8-sae-to-3-8-bspp_p0507187) (Hammerbarn for all you Yanks)
