This wine was a journey! On the nose, it’s classic Riesling – crisp green apple, petroleum, lime peel – but on the palate after 15 years this is wonderfully sweet with notes of honey, orange marmalade, candied lemon, straw, pineapple and cantaloupe. There’s a little effervescence remaining but it’s mostly flat. Super interesting.
