Hard to define “great”, but if I see a Mikulski bottle, I will get it.

    Same for Raveneau .

There are quite a few top tier producers here. Coche-Dury, Comte Lafon, Raveneau, Roumier, Liger Belair, and Dauvissat are all considered the pinnacles for their respective villages. That being said, all of these producers make excellent wines. No misses here.

Coche Dury is a great producer and buy literally any cuvée you can afford

If by great you mean high prices and low availability then yes. There’s a lot on this list that people who overpay for burgundy will obsess over. Raveneau, Dauvissat, Coche Dury, Roumier, and more I’m sure.

Sylvain Pataille is great and great value. Lot of big ballin names on this list that make incredible wine at exorbitant prices.

Lots of good producers on the list such as Coche Dury as noted in the comments. Less known, but up and coming Thibault Liger Belair is developing a little cult following for burghounds.

If you have to ask…you can’t afford it.

Well, there certainly are a lot of great and already popular winemakers there (like CD, Leflaive, Roumier, DCL, Dauvissat, Raveanu and more..)

I’d say give Pataille a try. Organic, Marsannay, blanc and rouge. imo affordable, drinks fresh and aged. I am not a biody fan, but he gives a lot of attention to his vines.

David Duband, if you prefer more subtle, fruity Burgundy. Also, foot crushed, I believe, so extra flavour. Also affordable, yet a lot of details in their grape juices.

Laurent Tribut if you like Chablis; family of Dauvissat if I remember correctly. Also affordable; I give a lot of points into winemakers that make it somewhat affordable for all the trouble they go into winemaking…

Thanks for all the input guys! I indeed recognized some big names, but many small ones I havent heard of. I typically spent max €100 per bottle but still see lots of cool stuff!
