My first ever sourdough bread! I really thought this was going to fail because of a variety of reasons:
– overkneading
– dough excessively sticky
– adding flour while kneading to troubleshoot stickyness
– starter might not be ready yet (I’m new to all sourdough and my starter was just passed on to me by someone more experienced)
– water added in creating the dough might be too warm
But lo and behold! She turned out looking absolutely beautiful, tasting delicious, and the texture is heavenly!
I used Emilie Raffa’s (TheCleverCarrot) Everyday Sourdough recipe which can be found in her book: Artisan Sourdough Made Simple. I didn’t want to share the recipe here because it’s not on her blog so I’m assuming she wants it to be kept in the book that you can purchasw.
