Cheers to Kenji! I always hear about how people like Jacques Pépin inspired the cooks of today. Amongst my peers, we always credit Kenji’s GoPro videos and The Food Lab. Thank you to Kenji and everyone at Serious Eats for building such a wonderful community!

    I used so many of his recipes that I thought it was only fair that I should buy his book as a kind of thank you. It’s also a great book that everyone should own.

    The food lab legit changed my life. It taught me how to cook, and made me passionate about cooking. In the 10 + years that I’ve had the book, I’ve made almost every recipe, multiple times. I’ve invited friends and family over and hosted countless dinner parties, something that I never would’ve done before. Some of these dishes are staples in my rotation, just last night I made a modified version of the oven roasted potatoes by making potato tacos. My little sister just moved into her first apartment and I’m gifting her a copy of The Food Lab for Xmas.
