In case this helps anyone else: I was able to find tons of beautiful frozen pandan leaves at this grocery in Chinatown called Tan Tin Hung Supermarket (Bowery & Grand). I went to Hong Kong Supermarket but they were sold out, and I searched 4-5 other grocery stores in the neighborhood until I found it.
