I used red pepper flakes instead of hot sauce
“16 oz elbow mac or cavatappi – 12 oz can evap milk – 2.5 cups milk – half stick of butter cur into cubes, 4 oz Colby Jack – 8 oz sharp cheddar – 4 oz Velveeta – 1 tsp salt – .5 tsp pepper – .5 tsp paprika – a couple squirts of Sriracha or another hot sauce – slow cook on low for 2-3 hours and give it a good stir after an hour”

I would only recommend buttering/oiling around the side of the crockpot to make cleanup a bit easier for yourself + use a spatula to mix and scrape the sides to keep them clean.

I make mine in a crock pot too. Looks great. What seasonings do you use? I use pepper, garlic powder, sour cream, butter and some *Slap Ya Mama!* I also prefer bow tie noodles.

How did the noodles turn out? I am always fearful of mushy Mac and cheese so I haven’t gone the slow cooker route yet.
