I’ve never seen a 3-month-old pizza looking that good.

There’s a three month wait for pizza? What am I missing here?

This is my local Detroit style pizza place. They only open orders up once a month or so, and it usually sells out within a few hours. They are currently sold out through June. I am usually a Neapolitan or NY pizza guy but this pizza is amazing. Really rich sauce and the crust is remarkable. It is the only pizza I have had where I thought the last bite of corner crust might be the best one: really rich and full of oil. I highly recommend.

What a joke. Sold out of pizza through June. If anyone actually believes that I feel sorry for them. That place should be out of business – I wouldn’t order anything from a RESTAURANT that is “sold out” of dough and cheese for months. 🙄

I got your back OP, not sure what everyone is crying about they’re not “sold out” they’re booked out for the next 3 months at a time, It’s probably a family business with a few workers that can only make so many pizzas a day and you need to book to buy one since the demand is so high.

You people realise there’s similar issues in other industries too right? It’s often 6-12+ months to buy a car.

I just know how much a nightmare that is for FOH and it isn’t a very good business model. Do first come first serve like every other high end pizza joint. I GUARANTEE at least 5% of these peeps ain’t picking up their pi’s. At the end of the day that’s a lot of food in the garbage. I could be wrong, but I doubt it lol.

Gotta hand it to whoever is cunning enough to trick hipsters into buying a pizza 3 months in advance.

I don’t know what the hell’s going on with this pizza…
    … but it looks delicious

With all due respect to you and your pizza, there is no pizza (or very very few pizzas) worth waiting 3 months for…

This looks like something i could get here in Detroit, and can get back home in like an hour or two.

I could understand maybe you sign up for a few weeks in advance, maybe, but 3 months is crazy.

There was another thread about this place a few weeks back? I think someone said that in 3 months’ time, any motivated person could learn to make really excellent DSP at home, in a home oven. Truth. DSP is one of the easiest pizzas to master. Kudos to the guy who set this biz up, making easy pizza and booked solid 3 months in advance year-round. Nice to have a 3-month job insurance policy!

Can confirm. This is some of the best pizza I have ever had and it is well worth the wait. The sourdough starter has it’s own name (Martha or something). Incredible flavor combos. It should be noted that they also have limited quantities of pizza available to pick up day of. But their primary business is scheduled pies. I’m just sad because I leave Seattle to go commercial fishing for two months at the start of June and missed my chance to preorder.

  12. Pizza is great but no pizza is worth ordering 3 months in advance; even as good as this one looks.

You had 3 months to plan a detroit style pizza and you put olives on it

  14. Drogbaaaaaa

3 month wait and the guy puts cheap ass olives on it for you

  15. Frocicorno

Did you decide the drinks 3m ahead or are you allow to change them until a few days before (for a fee)?

  16. georgecantshtandya

Those honestly look like canned olives. Waiting 3 months for pizza is dumb as hell. That pizza looks subpar at best compared to most posts on this sub.
