After going to their pop-ups at Wild East Brewery and Fifth Hammer, I’ve become a groupie and will definitely be stopping by this one today at Talea Williamsburg.
From Laksa Shop’s website, below is the menu. Nice and simple with only two options, Traditional and Vegetarian. Can’t beat pairing it with a delicious beer!
“TRADITIONAL BOWL Topped with shrimp, fishballs, and poached chicken
VEGETARIAN BOWL Topped with Shitake mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and seasonal Asian greens
*Vegan? No problem! Request for a plant based version! Our broth is vegan, so the bowl can be made vegan without the hard-boiled egg and egg noodles”
Man I miss laksa from Singapore. Nowadays I just get my fill from Prima taste instant laksa from Chinese supermarkets. It’s like $3 a pack but it’s pretty dang good
