Almost single-handedly keeping Ethiopia’s economy afloat.

I take one of these photos every year and last year I ended up buying from the same few local shops, which had delicious coffee, but made for a somewhat boring photo, so this year I tried to try more places. Mostly Tokyo shops, with a trip to Seoul and a few gifts from friends.

Will be visiting Tokyo in the spring with some friends. Any coffee places you would recommend checking out?

  3. Was about to ask if you have heart arrhythmia with all of that coffee you drank. I was thinking these are 12-16 oz (340-450g) bags, but can see that they’re in the 100-200g range. I would jump at the chance to do small bag samplings like this!

  4. I recognize most of them 🙂 Good choices!
What’s the black package with the red ‘H´on it?

For the price and quality, the beans + free coffee deal at Verve is pretty good.

Wonder if they still have the five-story Starbucks in Roppongi. Back in the ’90s that was about the best you could do. I used to think it was really good. lol
