I picked up a block of [friulano cheese](https://www.saputo.ca/en/products/friulano) from Costco thinking that it would be similar to mozzarella but realized it’s not. And after doing some cursory searching for suggested uses for friulano cheese, it seems this is actually a cheese unique to Canada (aka made up by Saputo) so there’s no suggestions on what it’s good for. Saputo’s website is generic, simply saying it goes well on its own or in a sandwich.
Does anyone who’s better acquainted know what this cheese is good for? Is it good grated on pasta? Can it be mixed into a cheese blend for pizza? A good variety for grilled cheese? Or is it truly best on it’s own (e.g., charcuterie board)?

It’s good for melting and broiling
Fry it with some oil and lemon juice and some freshly cracked pep and put on toasted pita like saganaki
My favourite cheese. I eat it on crackers, put it in grilled cheese with some goat cheese and peacans and a little old cheddar for spice. Or just grill it on bread. Or just eat it.
It has a rubbery texture, so doesn’t spread as much as other cheeses.

Makes a wicked grilled cheese but it’s generally a tasty eating cheese. It would also probably make a good fondue cheese
Melted in a pan with some ricotta, add eggs and some fried cubed salami for a frittata!
