I don’t think I really notice a difference in taste, personally, but man I love the amber yolks look. So pretty

Orange yolks are mostly no better in taste or texture than any other type of yolk, but if you enjoy the look then go for it.

My grandpa told me years ago that yolks that are dark yellow/orange like this are achieved by simply feeding the chickens marigold seeds.

The orange is definitely superior, love it for making my pastas!

Happy chickens who free range graze a variety of food have tastier eggs with darker coloured yolks so I would absolutely agree here

This is why I always recommend pasture raised eggs! My favorite brand is Vital Farms. Pasture raised = happy foraging chickens = better eggs.
I recently learned free range is not in fact the same, and the only requirement to label as such is a dirt floor. Pasture raised means they actually get to go outside, but still not every brand is great. I like vital farms because they are extreme transparent about their chickens and eggs.

Did you know that chicken farmers can buy food with specific coloring that produces eggs in that color and that the color likely has nothing to do with healthiness?

Damn where do you get these noodles? Reminds me of the dishes I ate as a child
