I am a new guy in coffee. I just try to use Almond Milk to make Latte. The taste is good, and very low fat. I will keep learning and improving. If any better choice which is no sugar & low fat. Please help to advise.

This may be down the line for you, but almond milk is the toughest non-dairy to work with for milk consistency and latte art. Give yourself grace as you work on it.

I personally prefer oat milk because it’s a bit creamy and easier to work with. If allergens aren’t an issue, you might also like Mylk, which is a multi-plant based alternative. Part of what makes latte milk “good” or “bad” by barista standards is it’s lipid count, so low fat milks will be a bit harder to learn on.

Keep rocking it though, the most important part is that you’re making lattes that taste good to you.

This unsweetened milk is one of my favorites as a lactose intolerant person. I used to be able to tolerate a milk latte occasionally but nowadays even a cheese pizza gives me bloating and fatigue. Generally not a fun time.

And yes, you can make microfoam with almondmilk! Different brands have different formulations but with most it is possible with practice and patience. I’d suggest trying a bunch of different styles, although Almond Breeze does a pretty solid job.
