I’ve been really into syrah lately. I’ve been trying so many different kinds. Wasn’t a huge fan of Cote Rotie, or at least the one I tried, but was considering purchasing a locked up bottle of fancy syrah. I loved the cheaper mollydookers I tried, and wasn’t a fan of the cheaper Torbeck although I’d drink it. My favorite wine is Macchia Petite Sirah (not syrah, I know). The other fancier one available is a Two Hands shiraz.

Not the $800 one.

Would a fancy syrah be worth it or would it be similar to a cote rotie finish wise?

Recommendations on other wines to try?
