Smoked Pork Shoulder

    **Rub mix:**

    * 2 tablespoons kosher salt

    * 1 teaspoon garlic powder

    * 1 teaspoon ground cumin

    * 1 teaspoon chili powder mix

    * 1 teaspoon ground pepper

    * 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

    **Cooking instructions:**

    1. Smother the roast in mustard, then liberally cover it in the spice mix.

    2. Place on preheated smoker at 275 and cook for 5 hours.

    3. Mix one cup apple cider and 1 cup coca-cola. Use this mix to spritz the roast every hour.

    4. After 5 hours, wrap in parchment paper, and place back on smoker at reduced track of 225.

    5. Smoke for 1-2 more hours until you reach the internal temperature of 195.
