There is no such thing as too many Moka Pots. I live in Puerto Rico and we call this “la greca”. This has been my favorite coffee brewing method since forever. The one pictured is my first bialetti; see the other two “grecas” in the back? They are mine and I use them everyday!

  1. Funnily enough I’m Italian and whenever I’m abroad everybody calls these “caffettiera italiana”.

I suggest trying out a Brikka if they’re available in your corner of the world.

It’s impossible finding a greca in Texas

As someone who recently just picked one up. Any brands worth checking out you like with a Moka pot? I’ve only tried Bustello after having it at a friend’s apartment and liked how it tasted so that’s what I went with.

If it matters to anyone amazon makes so much profit on this specific model of Moka pot if you request a refund they instantly give you the $ and tell you to just keep the pot.

Mine arrived with the plastic handle broken, not a big deal but hey told me just keep it and instantly gave me the $ back without really any questions asked.

Do what you want with this information.
