I’m not entirely sure the little tappy tap on the chicken is really doing much, but it sure is fun to watch!

I would sear your chicken in a HOT skillet first set it aside to rest, and cook your aromatics in the fond from that. You are still able to use your one pot method. Your recipes are so close but theres just a few basic techniques to use to really elevate them!

Plating is shit, as is the color in the video (it seems there is a Grey tint) any advice?

Ok, is it just me / android or are all of these new videos just super fuckin zoomed in? What happened to some proper framing so half the pan isn’t cut out? Like the recipes are generally good, but the video is just shit.

I’m gonna go on a limb and blame tiktok / YouTube shorts, but damn it’s annoying.

Food looks good but work on those knife skills. Slice down and forward through the food, don’t pull your knife towards yourself.

    Food looks delicious!

Quick tip for anyone at home: wash your leeks when you cut them. They grow in sand and often have dirt stuck in between the layers that you might not notice before you dice it.

Anyone else concerned about raw chicken on the wooden chopping board?
    Or the wooden spoon?
    Salmonella etc.
