I can’t quite get it to “spread” out to the sides consistently. Is that more about steaming technique or pouring skill?

    Yeah, that requires a thinner milk, with less air. But it looks very good nonetheless.

    It’s a slow process but it truly gets off when you consistently get the milk right

    Nicely done! If you really want practice I recommend to practice on latte cups, it probably easier.
