I am growing big boy tomatoes and I am super proud of myself but would love to know y’all’s opinion! No sign of end rot or anything, I see one of my larger fruits starting to show a seam at the top, is that normal or something I can/should correct? The one on the right is double stemmed, only one side produces fruit.

Additionally – my grandma keeps telling me to water it more to prevent the leaves from curling. I water once a day, in the evening once the sun goes down. I think my problem is the soil, it seems a bit too thick and I don’t think it’s allowing water to fully pass through.
It looks like there is room for more dirt, you could top it off. Then add some mulch on top to prevent the dirt from drying out.
It’s good you have some space for them to root out instead of putting them in little plastic buckets like a lot of new tomato growers do. I’d probably add potting mix all the way to the top of the frame. The parts of the stems that gets covered by dirt will probably form even more roots.
I’d also put the plants on opposite corners instead of next to each other for maximum space, but no biggie.
It says you water every day, is the soil totally dried out if you don’t?
Lastly, do they get direct sun most of the day? If they don’t, maybe next year move the frame somewhere that gets lots of sun.
I love the height marks on the stakes
