Bad pasta? | checked 2 boxes that I bought at the same time and they don’t expire till 2025 but they look the same and have some little black specks in them too. I’ve never had a problem with this brand. Does anyone know what this is? (I’m so sorry if this is breaking a rule)

Hey, OP. If nobody answers, try asking the people over at r/foodsafety
If it’s durum wheat pasta then the dark specks are normal. The pasta looks fine, maybe it’s just been banged around a bit.
Edit: but if you’re worried, don’t eat it. Although, there’s not a lot that could be wrong with dried pasta, what are you worried about exactly?
