I am trying to eat more fermented foods. One thing I really enjoyed about eating pupusas was the cabbage slaw served on the side. It adds a lot of brightness to the pupusas. I came across. A recipe and it looked easy. I didn’t realize it was a fermented food too.

I decided to test this out this week and it turned out good. I should have used a little less oregano since mine was dried. But otherwise good recipe.

If you haven’t had it, it’ll remind you of a tangy coleslaw – more Mediterranean in principle here, not in style.
