I have had cholesterol issues for many years, more than these charts show. About 8 weeks ago i had stents ‘installed’. This diet was instructed of me, which i have taken ‘to heart’. This is all the proof anyone could ask for as proof that eating this way will improve your health in many ways. i’ve dropped a total of 45 lbs so far this year, with 20 lbs being in the last 8 weeks. I’ve learned A LOT, and i still have much to go. Since joining this sub about 1 month ago, i’ve already seen many posts from other newbies asking if this diet can help with lipid issues, and if it can help with weight loss. i hope this post can help those people.

    Are you doing calorie counting in conjunction with the diet?

    And, what was your diet like before you made these changes?

    This is very encouraging for a data junkie like me. I love evidence these changes work!
