So I got my Timemore Sculptor O78S last weekend and went on to push beans through it to season it. I used this to check how impactful my Acaia Ion Beam actually is. See for yourself. Ion Beam is enabled at 11 seconds in the video.

Show espresso fine grounds with no ion beam first. A 150 gadget is fine and dandy, but static is something that should be dealt with in the design phase of the grinder and not by aftermarket parts

What happened to just spraying a bit of water on the beans?

1. Create a product that has a problem 2. Create a product that solves the problem 3. Profit

My £150 Iberital MC2 doesn’t produce static anywhere near that bad. Why do people put up with all this mess?

I’m confused about what this is supposed to do? Is it causing the grounds to fly everywhere or failing to stop them?

What a fucking mess

some grinders have built-in ion generators already

So a 350$ grinder that needs a 150$ gadget to do it’s job properly. Good stuff

Very funny if you check back to the video of a guy showing how effective spraying water is on beans… you see folks laughing at how absurd the ion beam idea was. And yet here it is😂

This is one of the dumbest products I’ve ever seen.

I like the grinding into the knockbox reference to the bad AliExpress ads

Holy shit. Now I’ve seen everything. Buy a grinder with an awful static problem and instead of returning it for a better grinder you buy another piece of equipment to solve the problem of the shit grinder.
